Instituto Mexicano De Seguro Social
The Mexican Institute of Social Security (, IMSS) is a governmental organization that assists public health, pensions and social security in Mexico operating under the Secretariat of Health. It also forms an integral part of the Mexican healthcare system. History The IMSS was founded by Mexican President Manuel Ávila Camacho on January 19, 1943 to satisfy the legal precepts established in the Article 123 of the Mexican Constitution. It is constituted by representations of the workers, employers, and the federal government. It is the largest social welfare institution in all Latin America. For some time, however, there have been festering signs of trouble in IMSS, such as serious financial problems that came to a head in early November 2010. Secretariat Of Health
The Secretariat of Health ( Spanish: ''Secretaría de Salud'') is the government department in charge of all social health services in Mexico, and an integral part of the Mexican health system. The Secretary of Health is a member of the Executive Cabinet and is appointed at the discretion of the President of the Republic. In recent years, the Secretary of Health has played a more restricted role, as many of its functions have been transferred to the corresponding institutions of the individual Mexican States. Ricardo García Sainz
Ricardo García Sainz Lavista (9 June 1930 – 23 August 2015) was a Mexican politician and administrator. He was director of the Mexican Social Security Institute between 1982 and 1991. He served in the Chamber of Deputies (Mexico), Chamber of Deputies for the Party of the Democratic Revolution between 1997 and 2000 as part of the LVII Legislature of the Mexican Congress. Career García Sainz was born on 9 June 1930. He studied law at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He was member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party between 1953 and 1993. He was director of the Mexican Social Security Institute between 1982 and 1991. García Sainz was a federal deputy for the Party of the Democratic Revolution between 1997 and 2000 as part of the LVII Legislature of the Mexican Congress. Arsenio Farell Cubillas (June 30, 1921 – May 15, 2005) was a Mexican lawyer and politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as Secretary of Labor in the cabinets of Miguel de la Madrid and Carlos Salinas and headed the Federal Comptroller's Secretariat in the cabinet of Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de León. Jesús Reyes Heroles (3 April 1921 – 19 March 1985) was a Mexican politician, jurist, historian and academic affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). The party acknowledges him as one of its leading ideologues. Professional career Reyes Heroles was born in Tuxpan, Veracruz, in 1921. In 1939 he gained admission to the law school of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and joined the Party of the Mexican Revolution (PRM), the forerunner of the later PRI. He graduated from the UNAM in 1944 and pursued studies in Argentina the following year. Between 1946 and 1963 he taught at both the UNAM and the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). In the 1961 mid-term election, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for Veracruz's second district.
