The Institute of Public Health, Bengaluru (IPH Bengaluru) is a non-profit academic research institution based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It focuses on strengthening health systems through research, education, and policy engagement, aiming to create an equitable, integrated, decentralized, and participatory health system within a just and empowered society. They are recognsied as a scientific research organisation by the department of science and technology of the Indian government. Their areas of work and action include commercial determinants of health, tribal health, health policy and systems research. As the founder-Director, Devadasan was instrumental in steering the IPH Bengaluru through its formative years. The National Tuberculosis Institute (NTIB) is a Government of India institute, under the ''Directorate General of Health Services'', Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, dedicated to advanced research on Tuberculosis. The Institute is located along Bellary Road, in Bengaluru, Karnataka state, India. Triloki Nath Khoshoo
Triloki Nath Khoshoo (1927-2002) was an Indian environmental scientist and administrator. He started his professional career as the co-founder of the Department of Botany that moved to Khalsa College, Amritsar, soon after the partition of India. After a brief stint as Chairman of the Botany Department at Jammu and Kashmir University, he joined the National Botanical Gardens, Lucknow, in 1964 as Assistant Director, where he worked under Kailas Nath Kaul, the Founder Director of the Gardens. He soon became the Director, and due to his efforts, the institution rose to the stature of being the National Botanical Research Institute in 1978.
