Institute For Legacy Of Polish National Thought
The Gabriel Narutowicz Institute of Political Thought () is a Polish educational and historical research institute. Announced to appear at a press conference on 3 February 2020, it was formally inaugurated by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Gliński, on 17 February that year. Its stated goal is to conduct research in the history of Poland through the lens of political philosophy, with most attention devoted to the analyses on Catholic, conservative and National Democratic thought, though some have raised doubts about the true purpose and impartiality of the organisation. Since its inception, it has started the Patriotic Fund to promote its goals and is currently repurposing a manor in north-eastern Poland for the Roman Dmowski museum. TVP Info is a Polish free-to-air television news channel, run by the public state broadcaster TVP. It is focused on newscasts, mainly broadcasting nationwide news bulletins. Jan Żaryn
Jan Krzysztof Żaryn (born 13 March 1958) is a Polish historian, professor and politician, who was a Senator in the Senate of Poland from 2015 to 2019. Born in Warsaw into a family of '' inteligencja'', Żaryn studied history at the University of Warsaw in 1979–1984, as well as in an . As a student, he engaged with anti-Communist movements. After finishing his studies, he taught history in Warsaw high schools and then joined Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 1997. Drozdowo, Podlaskie Voivodeship
Drozdowo is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Piątnica, within Łomża County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. It lies approximately south-east of Piątnica, east of Łomża (on the opposite side of the river Narew), and west of the regional capital Białystok. The first mentions of Drozdowo come from as far back as 1417. By the middle of the 19th century, the town and surrounding land belonged to the estates of the szlachta Lutosławski family. Starting from 1864, Drozdowo had a functional brewery, the product of which quickly became well known in the area, thanks to access to pristine water and expert workers. 2020 Polish Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Poland on 28 June 2020. As no candidate received a majority of the vote, a second round was held on 12 July, in which incumbent president Andrzej Duda, running with the support of the incumbent government of the Law and Justice (Poland), Law and Justice (PiS) party, faced off against Civic Platform vice-chairman and Mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski.
