Inside Out (2000 TV Series)
''Inside Out'' was a short-lived Scottish children's television show, produced by Scottish Television (now ''STV Central'') and broadcast each Saturday and Sunday afternoon, from August to December 2000. The show was also broadcast on neighbouring ITV station, Grampian Television (now ''STV North''). The series was written and presented by David Sneddon. Sneddon went one to win the first series of the BBC's ''Fame Academy'' in 2002. He is now in 2012 a successful songwriter in London and has written music chart songs for artists such as Hurts, Morten Harket of A-ha, X Factor winner Matt Cardle, Newton Faulkner and number one selling American singer Lana Del Rey. His presenting partner on the show was the actress Christina Cochran, now known as Christina Strachan. The show consisted of on-location features, comedy and cartoons. Children's Television
Children's television series (or children's television shows) are television programs designed for children, normally scheduled for broadcast during the morning and afternoon when children are awake. They can sometimes run during the early evening, allowing younger children to watch them after school. The purpose of these shows is mainly to entertain or educate. ''wknd@stv'' was a short-lived children's programming strand on Scottish television channel, STV. The block aired on Saturdays and Sundays, usually starting at 9:25am (the first ever edition began at 9:55am). It began on Saturday 17 January 2009 with a three-hour edition. The majority of editions were one to two hours in length. The first series was originally scheduled to run for twelve weeks (to Sunday 12 April 2009), but STV subsequently decided to extend the run, which eventually ended on 21 June, just before the Scottish school summer holidays. A second series of ''wknd@stv'' began on Saturday 15 August 2009; this ran for six weeks, ending on 20 September 2009. ''Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century'' is an animated series, animated television series in which Sherlock Holmes is brought back to life in the 22nd century. The series is a co-production by DIC Entertainment, DIC Entertainment, L.P. and Scottish Television Enterprises and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Special Class Animated Program. Overview The concept for the series was created by Sandy Ross, a Scottish Television executive, who came up with the idea while skiing in Aspen, Colorado in January 1996. DIC Entertainment, DIC Productions and Scottish Television had previously worked together to create other series and this continued the trend. Mythic Warriors
''Mythic Warriors'' (also known as ''Mythic Warriors: Guardians of the Legend'') is a 1998-2000 anthology animated television series, which featured retellings of popular Greek myths that were altered so as to be appropriate for younger audiences, produced by Nelvana and Marathon Media. Two seasons of episodes were produced in February 8, 1998 and March 14, 1999; then aired as reruns until May 21, 2000, when CBS' abolition of its Nelvana-produced children's programming in favor of Nick Jr. and later, Nickelodeon content resulted in its cancellation. The series was based on the book series ''Myth Men Guardians of the Legend'' written in 1996 and 1997 by Laura Geringer and illustrated by Peter Bollinger. ''Birdz'' is an animated television series created by Larry Jacobs, who later worked on ''Cyberchase''. It was produced by Nelvana Limited in association with CBS Television and STVE. The show was first aired on October 3, 1998, on CBS with the final episode's airing on January 2, 1999. Sam Newton Battenberg Faulkner (born 11 January 1985) is an English singer-songwriter and musician from Reigate, Surrey. He is known for his percussive style of guitar playing. In 2007 Faulkner's debut studio album '' Hand Built by Robots'' was certified double platinum in the United Kingdom. The album topped the UK Albums Chart in August 2007. Scottish Television (now, legally, known as STV Central Limited) is the ITV (TV network), ITV network franchisee for Central Belt, Central Scotland.
