Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) is a public community college in Iowa with campuses in Ottumwa and Centerville. IHCC serves both traditional residential students and commuter students, primarily from a ten-county area in southeast Iowa as well as portions of northern Missouri. IHCC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. History Indian Hills Community College was formed by the consolidation of three previously existing post-secondary education institutions: Iowa Tech-Area XV Community College, Centerville Community College, and Ottumwa Heights College. LaRon Dendy
LaRon Dendy (born December 18, 1988) is an American former basketball player. Dendy was an All-American college player at Middle Tennessee State University before beginning his professional career in 2012. Career Dendy, a power forward and center from Greenville, South Carolina, originally committed to Clemson. He instead went to Indian Hills Community College and played two years for the NJCAA school. He then went to Iowa State for the 2009–10 season, where he averaged 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in a reserve role. Following the season, Dendy announced plans to transfer. With one year of college eligibility left, Dendy landed at Middle Tennessee. He had a strong year, averaging 14.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and leading the Blue Raiders to the Sun Belt Conference regular season title. Dwight Buycks ( ; born March 6, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Kalleh Mazandaran of the Iranian Basketball Super League. He played college basketball for the Indian Hills Warriors and Marquette Golden Eagles. High school career Buycks attended Bay View High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a four-year starter on the basketball team and finished his career with 1,312 points. He was the first player in school history to reach 1,000 points. Ernest Brown (born May 17, 1979, in the Bronx, New York) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected in the second round of the 2000 NBA draft by the Miami Heat. He played collegiately for the Indian Hills Community College.
