Dongbin Road
Dongbin Road () is a major east-west road in Nanshan, Shenzhen, China. It starts west from Yueliangwan Boulevard in Qianhai and terminates at Shenzhen Bay Port in Dongjiaotou, which in turn is connected to Hong Kong via the Shenzhen Bay Bridge. A large portion of the Dongbin Tunnel is constructed under the street, which also runs to Shenzhen Bay Port. A number of the under construction Shenzhen Metro Line 9 stations will as well run underneath the road. Dapeng New District () is an administrative area under the jurisdiction of Longgang District in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It has a land area of , a coastline of and a total population of about 180,000. Dongmen Subdistrict, Shenzhen
Dongmen (; lit. "East Gate") is a subdistrict within Luohu District of Shenzhen, in China. It is a shopping district located on Dongmen Pedestrian Street (). Name As one of the older parts of Shenzhen, the Dongmen area was established about 300 years ago as the centre of the Shenzhen Market (深圳墟), the town which would later lend its name to the city. This leads it to be alternatively known as "Laojie" (lit. "Old Street"). Location Lying just north of Shennan East Road, Dongmen is accessible from Exit A of Laojie Station, Shenzhen Metro. Dapeng Peninsula
Dapeng Peninsula or Dapengbandao () is a peninsula in the east of Longgang district, that lies in the easternmost part of Shenzhen in the Guangdong Province in China.To the southwest of the peninsula is Mirs Bay and to the northeast is Daya Bay. The Dapeng dialect is the main dialect across the whole peninsula. The Dapeng Fortress (Dapengcheng) was built to protect the inhabitants from attacks by Japanese pirates (''wokou'') during the late Ming Dynasty. During the Second Opium War there was a possibility of annexation as part of British Hong Kong. Ultimately the area was never occupied by the British. During the Cultural Revolution the region saw a major famine, just like the rest of rural China. Geography The Dapeng Peninsula extends southwards from continental China and is surrounded by Mirs Bay to the west and Daya Bay to the east. Danzhutou
Danzhutou (丹竹头; Hakka: Tan Tsuk Theu) is a village in Buji, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Demographics The original village population consisted of approximately 500 people of the Hakka dialect group. The variant of Hakka spoken is called Sin On. The inhabitants use 4 surnames: Shen (沈; Hakka: Shim), 80%), Ling (凌), Luo (罗) and Zhang (张). Later village filled with low rise buildings and a large immigrant population. China Resources Headquarters
China Resources Tower (), colloquially known as the Spring Bamboo (), is a supertall skyscraper in Houhai, Nanshan, Shenzhen, Guangdong. Construction started in 2012 and the building topped out on July 1, 2016. It surpassed Shun Hing Square as the 3rd tallest building in Shenzhen upon its completion in 2018.
