In The Slight
''In the Slight'' is the second extended play (EP) by Australian indie rock band Spacey Jane, released independently on 10 November 2018. It was produced by Rob Grant and Dave Parkin, and preceded by two singles, "Cold Feet" and "Keep a Clean Nose". The EP was supported by a national tour from March 2019. Compared to the garage rock sound of their debut EP '' No Way to Treat an Animal'' (2017), ''In the Slight'' dabbles with indie rock and folk-pop, with elements of shoegaze. This style built the foundation for the sound of their debut studio album, ''Sunlight'' (2020). Background and release In 2017, Spacey Jane released their debut EP, '' No Way to Treat an Animal''. Spacey Jane are an Australian indie rock band from Fremantle, which formed in 2016. The group consists of Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu (guitar), Caleb Harper (vocals, guitar), Kieran Lama (drums) and, since 2019, Peppa Lane (bass guitar). Their debut studio album, ''Sunlight'', was released in 2020 and peaked at number two on the ARIA Charts. It was preceded by triple platinum single "Booster Seat", which peaked at number eight and won the ARIA Song of the Year. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). A mixing console or mixing desk is an electronic device for mixing audio signals, used in sound recording and reproduction and sound reinforcement systems. Inputs to the console include microphones, signals from electric or electronic instruments, or recorded sounds. Mixers may control analog or digital signals. The Cure

The Strokes
The Strokes are an American rock band from New York City. 2000s Indie Rock
Indie rock is a subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or " guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's large student population.
