Unanimated are a Swedish melodic death metal band. History The band formed in Stockholm and dissolved in 1996. They have 7 current complete members. Largely inspired by Dismember, they made two melodic death metal albums. In 1993, '' In the Forest of the Dreaming Dead'' was released on Pavement Music, a label which has since merged with Crash Music Inc. The album was one of the first melodic death metal albums of all time. In 1995 ''Ancient God of Evil'' was released on No Fashion Records, an independent Swedish label. The band also contributed to the 1996 Slayer tribute '' Slatanic Slaughter II'' with their cover of "Dead Skin Mask". Tore Gunnar Stjerna (a.k.a. Necromorbus) is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer. Regain Records
Regain Records was a Swedish-based independent record label. The label predominantly released death metal and black metal albums. Regain Records was founded from what remained of the former label, Wrong Again Records, by Per Gyllenbäck in 1997. Wrong Again Records had such bands as In Flames, Cryptopsy, Arch Enemy, and Naglfar among its ranks. Regain Records' first two releases were Deranged's ''High on Blood'' and Embraced's ''Amorous Anathema'', in late 1997. In the first two years of operation, business for the label was slow, due to lack of proper distribution. It was not until Regain Records re-released the first two in Flames albums, '' Lunar Strain'' and '' Subterranean'', which were previously released under the name Wrong Again Records, that the label began to prosper.
