Il Caimano Del Piave
''Il Caimano del Piave'' is a 1951 Italian war-melodrama film directed by Giorgio Bianchi. Plot After completing her studies, Lucilla di Torrebruna returns to San Donà di Piave where her father, a cavalry colonel, is about to marry Helène in a second marriage. Seeing her father happy with her the girl bears the hostility of her stepmother. The First World War breaks out and Franco, a fellow student of Lucilla, leaves Trieste to enter Italian territory to enlist in the Bersaglieri but due to the defeat of Caporetto the Austrians occupy the town of San Donà and the Torrebruna villa becomes the headquarters of the command military and Helène reveals that she is a pro-Austrian spy. The colonel and Franco, who has become an officer of the Arditi, organize a network of espionage in favor of the Italians and during one of these raids the colonel is wounded and it is Lucilla who takes his place. Gianni Musy
Giovanni "Gianni" Musy (3 August 1931 – 7 October 2011) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Milan, the son of actors Enrico Glori and Gianna Pacetti, he started working as a child actor at eleven years old and studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in his hometown. Starting from the late 1950s, Musy began an intense activity as a character actor, often being cast in villainous roles. Musy became best known through his television work, notably the RAI TV series ''La freccia nera'', '' Le inchieste del commissario Maigret'', '' E le stelle stanno a guardare'' and ''Dov'è Anna?''. Fausto Tozzi (29 October 1921 – 10 December 1978) was an Italian film actor and screenwriter. He appeared in 70 films between 1951 and 1978. He wrote the script for '' The Defeated Victor'', which was entered into the 9th Berlin International Film Festival. He also directed one film, ''Trastevere''. Life and career Born in Rome, after graduating in accountancy Tozzi made several humble jobs, including peddler and bird taxidermist. He was introduced in the cinema industry by Sergio Amidei, for whom he worked as a stenographer. Through Amidei, Tozzi met Renato Castellani, with whom he collaborated as a screenwriter for '' Professor, My Son'' (1946) and '' Under the Sun of Rome'' (1948, based on a Tozzi's original story).
