Ighermia
''Ighermia'' was a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the daisy family. It had only one species, ''Ighermia pinifolia'' It was first published in Nordic J. Bot. Vol.3 on page 445 in 1983. In biology, a monotypic taxon is a taxonomic group (taxon) that contains only one immediately subordinate taxon. Genus ( plural genera ) is a taxonomic rank used in the biological classification of living and fossil organisms as well as viruses. Asteraceae
The family Asteraceae, alternatively Compositae, consists of over 32,000 known species of flowering plants in over 1,900 genera within the order Asterales.
