''I Got Too Sad for My Friends'' is the third studio album by the English singer Shura (English singer), Shura. It was released via PIAS Recordings, Play It Again Sam, on 30 May 2025. It was preceded by three singles, "Recognise", "World's Worst Girlfriend" and "Richardson", and Shura's 2019 project, ''Forevher''. Background Noted as an art pop album with elements of Electro (music), electro, Folk music, folk and synth-pop, ''I Got Too Sad for My Friends'' is composed of eleven songs ranging between two and four minutes each, with a total runtime of approximately thirty-eight minutes. "Recognise" was released as the first single on 22 January 2025. It was followed by the second single, "Richardson", featuring American singer Cassandra Jenkins, on 26 February 2025. Alexandra Lilah Denton (also known as Aleksandra Lilah Yakunina-Denton, born 17 June 1988), known professionally as Shura, is an English singer, songwriter and record producer. Stephen Black (born 1982), also known by his stage name Sweet Baboo, is a Welsh musician. Before becoming a solo artist, he played with the band JT MOuse. Barrie Cadogan (born January 1975) is an English guitarist, known for his association with Morrissey, Paul Weller, Edwyn Collins, Liam Gallagher, Primal Scream, and The The, and also for being the founder of Little Barrie.
