IND Culver Line
The IND Culver Line (formerly IND Culver Line#History, BMT Culver Line) is a rapid transit line of the B Division (NYCS), B Division of the New York City Subway, extending from Downtown Brooklyn south to Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York City, United States. The local tracks of the Culver Line are served by the F (New York City Subway service), F service, as well as the G (New York City Subway service), G between Bergen Street (IND Culver Line), Bergen Street and Church Avenue (IND Culver Line), Church Avenue. The express tracks north of Church Avenue are used by the Fd (New York City Subway service), <F> train during rush hours in the peak direction. The peak-direction express track between Ditmas Avenue (IND Culver Line), Ditmas Avenue and Avenue X (IND Culver Line), Avenue X has not seen regular service since 1987. F (New York City Subway Service)
The F and <F> Queens Boulevard Express/Sixth Avenue Local are two rapid transit services in the B Division of the New York City Subway. Their route bullets are colored , since they use and are part of the IND Sixth Avenue Line in Manhattan. The F operates 24 hours daily between 179th Street in Jamaica, Queens and Stillwell Avenue in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Daytime service makes express stops in Queens (between Forest Hills–71st Avenue and 21st Street–Queensbridge) and all stops in Manhattan and Brooklyn; overnight service makes all stops along the full route. Ninth Avenue (BMT Culver Line)
The Ninth Avenue station is a bi-level express station on the BMT West End Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and 39th Street in Brooklyn. The Culver Line, Gravesend Avenue Line, or McDonald Avenue Line was a surface public transit line in Brooklyn, New York City, United States, running along McDonald Avenue and built by the Prospect Park and Coney Island Railroad. The Ditmas Avenue station is a local station on the IND Culver Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Ditmas and McDonald Avenues in Kensington, Brooklyn, it is served by the F train at all times and the <F> train during rush hours in the peak direction. History This station opened at 3:00 a.m. on March 16, 1919, as part of the opening of the first section of the BMT Culver Line.
