Huey Lewis and the News (formerly known as Huey Lewis & The American Express) are an American rock band based in San Francisco, California. Mainstream Rock is a music chart published by '' Billboard'' magazine that ranks the most-played songs on mainstream rock radio stations in the United States. It is an administrative category that combines the " active rock" and " heritage rock" formats. The chart was launched in March 1981 as Rock Albums & Top Tracks. The album was a commercial success, peaking at number one on the ''Billboard'' 200 and went on to score five top-ten ''Billboard'' Hot 100 singles, including the number-one hits " Stuck with You" and "Jacob's Ladder". The album was certified three-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
