House Of Targ
House of Targ is a live music venue, arcade and pierogi restaurant in Ottawa, Canada. The venue opened April 17, 2014 with a live performance from Toronto band PUP. Owners Paul Granger, Mark McHale and Kevin Berger acquired a 10-year lease on the 1077 Bank street location. The 4,000 sq. ft. basement venue formerly housed the Bayou Blues bar, The New Bayou and The Underground. Most of the bands booked belong to the rock, indie, alternative, punk, hardcore, metal, ska, synth categories. Hibria
HIBRIA is a Brazilian power metal/ speed metal band, known for their technicality and speed. The band cites influences from traditional metal bands such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, thrash bands such as Metallica and Megadeth, and progressive bands such as Dream Theater. HIBRIA toured across Europe in 1999, in the "Against the Faceless" demo tour, playing 29 concerts through Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Poland. The band was on the roster to perform at ProgPower USA XVI in September 2015, which would have been their first time performing in the United States. However, the band was not allowed into the country, and they did not get to perform at ProgPower USA. In December 2017, it was announced that Iuri Sanson, Eduardo Baldo, Renato Osorio, and Ivan Beck would be leaving the band. Hard Skin is an English punk group from Gipsy Hill, London who play in the early UK Oi! style. History Hard Skin is an oi band founded in 1996 and their first album ''Hard Nuts and Hard Cunts'' appeared that year. Gorod (band)
Gorod is a technical death metal band from Bordeaux, France. History Gorod originally formed in 1997 under the name Gorgasm, but later changed their named to Gorod in 2005, to avoid confusion with an American death metal band of the same name. They released their debut album ''Neurotripsicks'' on Deadsun Records in 2004, which was later re-released by Willowtip Records a year after. They later followed up with ''Leading Vision'' in 2006. Bob Log III (born November 21, 1969) is an American slide guitar one-man band based in Tucson, Arizona, and Melbourne, Australia. During performances, he plays old Silvertone archtop guitars, wears a full body human cannonball suit, and a helmet wired to a telephone receiver, which allows him to devote his hands and feet to guitar and drums. Truckfighters are a Swedish rock band from Örebro, formed in 2001. History Truckfighters was formed in Örebro, Sweden in 2001. After releasing EPs in 2001 and 2002, they recorded a split-EP with local Swedish band Firestone in 2003.
