Hourglass (Mako Album)
Hourglass is the debut studio album by American DJs Mako. It was released on 9 December 2016 via Ultra Records. A remix album would be released on April 28, 2017, via Ultra Records. Background Several songs from the album were recorded few years ago including "I Wish You Back", "Let Go Of The Wheel" and "Our Story" which was re-created to be added to the album. Seaver said 2015 was the year it became apparent that they were making an album. Title The album title was named because Seaver felt that an hourglass represents time in a creative way. The time he spent in working on the album was also a reason of the name. Singles "Smoke Filled Room" was released as the first single on 14 August 2015. Its accompanying music video was released "Way Back Home" was released as the second single on 18 December 2015. "Into the Sunset" was released as the third single on 22 April 2016. Mako (DJs)
Alex Seaver, better known by his stage name Mako, is an American music producer and DJ from Los Angeles. The project Mako originally started as a duo with producer Logan Light, who left the group in 2017. Mako rose to prominence in the electronic dance music scene from their single "Beam", which was remixed by Dannic on Revealed Recordings and played at festivals worldwide. Career 2011: Formation of Mako Before an introduction was made, the two artists spent their early life progressing musically in different worlds. Both members' fathers were paired as roommates at Syracuse University and were good friends. Morgan Wolf Page (born May 31, 1981) is an American DJ and music producer. His tracks include "The Longest Road", "Fight for You" and "In the Air". Page has received two Grammy Award nominations; a personal nomination for best remix with Nadia Ali and in 2009 his song was nominated for best remix; "The Longest Road" (deadmau5 Remix). We Are Fury (stylised as WE ARE FURY, previously known as Fury; stylised as FURY) is a Canadian DJ and music production duo consisting of Joachim Speidel and Stuart Brookes. Taking inspiration from the feeling their music gave them for their stage name, they are known for their remixes, singles, extended plays (EP), and debut album ''Duality''.
