Hoppus On Music
''Hoppus On Music'', previously titled ''A Different Spin with Mark Hoppus'', is a talk show hosted by Blink-182 and +44 singer/bassist Mark Hoppus. The show premiered on September 16, 2010, on Fuse, and lasted until June 2012. The show formerly featured comedian Amy Schumer as the co-host. Background The show focused on music news, humorous panel discussions and special reports from the show's correspondents. The show also featured musical performances by both mainstream and emerging bands. On January 18, 2011, Mark Hoppus announced via Twitter, that the show was renamed to, ''Hoppus On Music''. Mark Hoppus
Mark Allan Hoppus (born March 15, 1972) is an American musician and record producer. He is the co-lead vocalist, co-founder, and bassist for the rock band Blink-182 and the only member to appear on every album. Hoppus became interested in skateboarding and punk rock in junior high, and received a bass guitar from his father at the age of 15. After he moved to San Diego in 1992 to attend California State University San Marcos, his sister introduced him to Tom DeLonge, and they formed the band Blink-182 with drummer Scott Raynor. The band produced several rock recordings and toured exhaustively before signing to major label MCA Records, MCA to co-distribute their sophomore effort, 1997's ''Dude Ranch (album), Dude Ranch'', which featured the Hoppus-penned hit "Dammit". Black Cards
Black Cards was an American electronic music band that formed in July 2010 as Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz's new main project following the band's hiatus. Originally conceived as a four-piece electropop band, Wentz played bass guitar and wrote the band's lyrics, while singer Bebe Rexha filled in on vocals. The pair met when Wentz and producer Sam Hollander overheard Rexha recording demos at their studio. Nate Patterson and Spencer Peterson completed the lineup with guitar and drums respectively. Shortly after forming, the group released songs to YouTube, and one to iTunes. Initially the band had planned to write and record a full-length LP to be released in Summer 2011. Ben Folds
Benjamin Scott Folds (born September 12, 1966) is an American singer-songwriter from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After playing in several small independent bands throughout the late 80s and into the early 90s, Folds came to prominence as the frontman and pianist of the alternative rock trio Ben Folds Five from 1993 to 2000, and again during their reunion from 2011 to 2013. He has recorded a number of solo albums, most recently '' Sleigher'' (2024). Motion City Soundtrack is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1997. The band's line-up consists of vocalist and guitarist Justin Pierre, lead guitarist Joshua Cain, keyboardist Jesse Johnson, bassist Matthew Taylor, and drummer Tony Thaxton. Over the course of their career, the group has toured heavily and released six studio albums, the majority on independent label Epitaph Records. Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), known professionally as Slash, is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and mid-1990s.
