Hope (English Band)
Hope were an English five-piece girl group consisting of Charlie Mole, Emily Biggs, Raquelle Gracie, Leah Lauder and Phoebe Brown, who found fame on the fourth series of '' The X Factor'', originally a six-piece before prior to the live shows, Sisi Jghalef was forced to step down after it was discovered that she had an outstanding criminal conviction. ''The X Factor'' The members of Hope auditioned originally as soloists but did not make it past bootcamp. However, judge Louis Walsh suggested that they re-audition as a six-piece, with the group originally containing a sixth member, Sisi Jghalef. After reaching the judges' homes stage and being told that they had made it through to the final twelve, it emerged that Jghalef had an outstanding criminal conviction. This went against the rules of the competition and the show's producers asked her to leave the group. Girls Can't Catch
Girls Can't Catch were a British girl group. Their debut single, " Keep Your Head Up", entered the UK Singles Chart at number 26. Their second single, "Echo", was released on 18 January 2010, debuting at number 19 on the chart. The band were dropped by their record company, Polydor Records, on 12 July 2010. They disbanded a day later. History The girls were scouted by their label, Polydor, and then were asked to be in a new girl band. One founding member of the group, Phoebe Brown, was previously in a girl group called Hope, which rose to fame on ''The X Factor''. Hope made it into the live shows, but were the seventh act eliminated (fifth place overall). Dipdive was a social networking website created by will.i.am. It is best known as the original source site of the 'Yes We Can' music video. The site allowed users to upload images, videos and audio files, post blog entries and create playlists. Dipdive was home to a variety of creative content and information on social causes. The website was shut down at some time in 2013 and its domain was redirected to will.i.am's homepage. Louder (Parade Song)
"Louder" is the debut single by British girl group Parade, which was released on 13 March 2011. It debuted at number ten on the UK Singles Chart, and also peaked at number 41 in Ireland. The music video was filmed in an old house, with a girly house party, which went on in to the street with fireworks, it was directed by Emli Nava. The song was used in a Rimmel make up advert. Critical reception The song received mixed to positive reviews from the music critics. Parade were a British five piece girl group, who were formerly signed to Asylum Records. The group had five members: Emily Biggs, Lauren Deegan, Bianca Claxton, Jessica Agombar and Sian Charlesworth. On 11 February 2013, it was confirmed via the Parade Twitter account the group had split following the departure of Bianca Claxton. "Echo" is the second and final single by British girl group Girls Can't Catch. It was released on 14 January 2010. Music video The music video was shot the week beginning 9 November 2009. Fans were allowed to post video ideas for the music video. Whoever won was allowed to visit the girls on the set of the music video, and get a makeover. The video premiered on 3 December 2009. It has been selected as the VIP Track of the Week on The Box, 4 Music and Smash Hits on 3 December 2009. Girls Aloud were an pop girl group that was created through the ITV talent show '' Popstars: The Rivals'' in 2002.
