''Honour, Profit and Pleasure'' is a 1985 British television film directed by Anna Ambrose and starring Simon Callow as George Frideric Handel, with an ensemble cast portraying a variety of other roles. It was broadcast to celebrate three hundredth anniversary of the year of the composer's birth in 1685. Albert John Moffatt (24 September 1922 – 10 September 2012) was an English character actor and playwright, known for his portrayal of Hercule Poirot on BBC Radio in twenty-five productions and for a wide range of stage roles in the West End from the 1950s to the 1980s. John Abineri (18 May 1928 – 29 June 2000) was an English actor. Born in London, he attended the Old Vic drama school and described himself as "Well educated from the age of five to eighteen". He spoke a number of languages (including German, Russian and French) fluently, which led to him being cast as a number of different nationalities.
