"Hole in the Head" is a song performed by British girl group Sugababes, released on 13 October 2003 as the lead single from their third studio album, ''Three''. It was written by Brian Higgins, Miranda Cooper, Tim Powell, Nick Coler, Niara Scarlett, Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, and Heidi Range, and co-produced by Higgins and Jeremy Wheatley. The song was met with acclaim from critics and was a commercial success, entering at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Sugababes
The Sugababes are an English girl group composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy. The lineup changed three times before returning to the original lineup in 2011. Formed in 1998 by Ron Tom, the manager of All Saints, Sugababes released their debut album, '' One Touch,'' through London Records in November 2000. It achieved moderate success and produced the top-ten single " Overload". In 2001, Donaghy was replaced by Heidi Range. With Range, Sugababes released three multi-platinum albums: '' Angels with Dirty Faces'' (2002), '' Three'' (2003), and '' Taller in More Ways'' (2005). In December 2005, Buena was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Niara Scarlett is a British-born singer and songwriter. She appeared on a number of dub, garage, grime, and house singles in the latter half of the 1990s and the 2000s. Background Scarlett has co-written some of the most influentional pop songs of the past ten years, including Girls Aloud's debut single " Sound of the Underground" and "Hole in the Head" by Sugababes. The Town House (also known as Townhouse Studios) was a recording studio located at 140 Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush in London, built in 1978 under the direction of Richard Branson for Virgin Records.
