Holden Caprice (WM)
The WM and WN series are the third and final generation of the Holden Caprice/Statesman, a range of full-size luxury saloons produced by the Australian manufacturer Holden from August 2006 to October 2017, sold primarily in Australia and New Zealand. They were also exported in various guises to the United States, the Middle East, China and South Korea. The range debuted alongside the smaller VE series Holden Commodore, which the Caprice shares its "Zeta" platform with, on 16 July 2006 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The WM Caprice and Statesman were an A$190 million investment, in combination with the $1.03 billion VE Commodore programme. Holden
Holden, formerly known as General Motors-Holden, was an Australian subsidiary company of General Motors. Founded in Adelaide, it was an automobile manufacturer, importer, and exporter that sold cars under its own marque in Australia. It was headquartered in Port Melbourne, with major industrial operations in the states of South Australia and Victoria. The 164-year-old company ceased trading at the end of 2020, having switched to solely importing vehicles in its final three years. MyLink a.k.a. Intellilink is a telematics system/infotainment system offered by General Motors in their vehicles. The system was debuted in 2011 in the then-new Chevrolet Volt. The system was marketed as Intellilink for Buick, GMC, Vauxhall and Opel. It was marketed as ''MyLink'' by Chevrolet and Holden. Cadillac used the CUE infotainment system.
