The Men's field hockey event for the 2010 Commonwealth Games was held at the Dhyan Chand National Stadium from 4–14 October 2010. The Gold medal was won by Australia men's national field hockey team, Australia, who won their fourth consecutive Commonwealth title, Beating India men's national field hockey team, India 8–0 in the final. New Zealand men's national field hockey team, New Zealand beat England men's national field hockey team, England 5–3 on penalty strokes to snatch bronze. Glenn Turner (born 1 May 1984) is an Australian professional field hockey player from the Australian Capital Territory. He is a member of Australia men's national field hockey team and won a gold medal with them at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games. Muhammad (8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious and political leader and the founder of Islam.
