Hit The Stage
''Hit the Stage'' is a South Korean television program broadcast by Mnet in which K-pop idols team up with professional dance teams to compete in a dance survival contest. It premiered on July 27, 2016 and the first season concluded on September 28, 2016. It aired every Wednesday on Mnet and tvN at 11pm KST. Astro (; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean boy band formed by Fantagio. The group is composed of four members: MJ (South Korean singer), MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, and Yoon San-ha. Park Min-hyuk (; born February 25, 1999), known by his stage name Rocky (라키), is a South Korean rapper and singer. He was a member of the South Korean boy group Astro and its duo subunit Jinjin & Rocky with leader Jinjin. Son Hyun-woo (, born June 18, 1992), known by his stage name Shownu, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actor. He is a member of South Korean boy group Monsta X and its sub-unit Shownu X Hyungwon under Starship Entertainment. Career Early life and pre-debut Shownu was born in Chang-dong, Dobong-gu in Seoul, South Korea on June 18, 1992. He was initially a trainee of JYP Entertainment, for about two years, after winning first place in the JYP auditions in 2009. Kim Yu-gyeom (; born November 17, 1997), known mononymously as Yugyeom (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and dancer who made his debut as a member of the South Korean boy band Got7 in 2014 and the subunit Jus2. Early life Yugyeom was born in Seoul and has spent a little of his childhood in Saudi Arabia due to his father's job. Kim Se-yong (; born November 20, 1991) is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, and actor. Signed to H2 Media, he made his debut with Korean pop idol, idol quintet Myname in 2011.
