It was released on May 31, 2019, and is the band's first album released through Entertainment One Music. It is the only album with drummer Devon Carothers. Texas Hippie Coalition (often abbreviated to THC) is an American heavy metal band from Denison, Texas. History The band was formed in Denison, Texas by Big Dad Ritch, along with his friend John Exall and other friends. Several lineup changes occurred before, '' Rollin'', with producer Dave Prater. ''Rollin'' arrived on July 6, 2010, which was their first national release. In early 2012 the group began working with producer Bob Marlette. Their first single " Turn It Up" was released in June of that same year. '' Peacemaker'' was released on August 14, 2012, and was ranked 20 on ''Billboard'' Hard Rock Albums. Groove Metal
Groove metal, sometimes also called neo-thrash or post-thrash, is a subgenre of heavy metal music that began in the early 1990s. The genre is primarily derived from thrash metal, but played in slower tempos, and making use of rhythmic guitar parts. It was pioneered in the late 1980s by groups like Exhorder, Prong and Bad Brains, and then popularized by the commercial success of Pantera, White Zombie, Machine Head and Sepultura. Robert Roy Marlette (born December 7, 1955) is an American record producer, recording engineer, mixer, and songwriter. His production, writing and mixing credits include Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Seether, Saliva, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alice Cooper, and Sheryl Crow.
