Hanafiah Mat
Hanafiah bin Mat is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Terengganu State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Gagasan Sejahtera (GS) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) state administration under Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar since May 2018 and Member of the Terengganu State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Cukai since May 2013. He is a member and Division Deputy Chief of Kemaman of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of the PN and formerly GS as well as Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions. His alleged insult at the 'Menu Rahmah' initiative and call to abandon the targeted diesel subsidy policy were controversial and widely criticised by Malaysians. The Malay language has a complex system of Style (manner of address), styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore. Terengganu State Legislative Assembly
The Terengganu State Legislative Assembly () is the unicameral state legislature of the Malaysian state of Terengganu. It consists of 32 members representing single-member constituencies throughout the state. Elections are held no more than five years apart, and are customarily held alongside elections to the federal parliament during a general election. The State Assembly convenes at the Wisma Darul Iman in the state capital, Kuala Terengganu. Perikatan Nasional (PN; ) is a Malaysian Parliamentary group, political coalition consisting of Right-wing politics, right-wing and Far-right politics, far-right political parties. It is the second largest political coalition in Dewan Rakyat with 74 seats after Pakatan Harapan (PH) with 81 seats. Previously known as the Persatuan Perikatan Parti Malaysia (PPPM; ). Gagasan Sejahtera
The Gagasan Sejahtera (English: ''Ideas of Prosperity'', abbrev: GS) was a coalition of opposition Islamist political parties which promote the "ideas of peace" in Malaysia. The informal electoral pact was formed initially on 16 March 2016 by Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) and Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (IKATAN) as a ''Third Force'' to face both ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) and the opposition Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalitions in the upcoming 2018 Malaysian general election (GE14). It had announced on 13 August 2016 the pact to be formally called Gagasan Sejahtera. Pan-Malaysian Islamic Front (BERJASA) had later joined the coalition on 23 September 2016. Pakatan Rakyat
Pakatan Rakyat (PR; ) was an informal Malaysian political coalition and successor to Barisan Alternatif (BA). The political coalition was formed by the People's Justice Party (PKR), Democratic Action Party (DAP), and Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) on 1 April 2008, after the 12th Malaysian general election, having previously formed the Barisan Alternatif (Alternative Front) in the 10th general election. On 20 April 2010, the Sarawak National Party (SNAP) officially joined as a member of the Pakatan Rakyat after being expelled from Barisan Nasional, but quit the coalition on 6 May 2011.
