Halton Regional Police Service
The Halton Regional Police Service provides policing service for the Regional Municipality of Halton, which is located southwest of Toronto, in Ontario, Canada. Halton Region encompasses the city of Burlington and the Towns of Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills. As of July 2020, the Halton Regional Police Service has over 1,000 members, including 718 sworn police officers and approximately 302 civilian and volunteer members. The service is responsible for policing a population of approximately 610,000 people in an area covering 692 square kilometers. The chief of police is the highest-ranking officer of the Halton Regional Police Service who governs the entire police service. Stephen J. The Ontario Civilian Police Commission (OCPC; French: ''Commission civile de l’Ontario sur la police''), previously known as the Ontario Police Commission and the Ontario Civilian Commission on Police Services, is an independent quasi-judicial agency. In telecommunications, long-term evolution (LTE) is a standard for wireless broadband communication for cellular mobile devices and data terminals. It is considered to be a "transitional" 4G technology, and is therefore also referred to as 3.95G as a step above 3G. LTE is based on the 2G GSM/ EDGE and 3G UMTS/ HSPA standards. It improves on those standards' capacity and speed by using a different radio interface and core network improvements. Project 25 (P25 or APCO-25) is a suite of standards for interoperable Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems designed primarily for public safety users. The standards allow analog conventional, digital conventional, digital trunked, or mixed-mode systems. P25 was originally developed for public safety users in the United States but has gained acceptance for public safety, security, public service, and some commercial applications worldwide. P25 radios are a replacement for analog UHF (typically FM) radios, adding the ability to transfer data as well as voice for more natural implementations of encryption and text messaging. Chevrolet Tahoe
The Chevrolet Tahoe (), and its Rebadging, badge-engineered GMC Yukon counterpart, are full-size SUVs and other trucks from General Motors, offered since 1994 and 1991, respectively. Since 1982, Chevrolet and GMC (General Motors division), GMC sold two different-sized SUVs under their "Blazer" and "Jimmy" nameplates, by introducing the smaller Chevrolet S-10 Blazer, S-10 Blazer and GMC S-15 Jimmy for the 1983 model year, below the Chevrolet K5 Blazer, full-size Blazer and Jimmy models.
