HBL F.C.
Habib Bank Limited Football Club or commonly known as Habib Bank Football Club and HBL F.C. were a Pakistani football club based in Karachi, Sindh, which play in the Football Federation League. The club was formed in 1975 by the Habib Bank, hence the nickname, ''the Bankers''. HBL won the National championship in 1982, beating Pakistan Railways into second place. They have also been runners up three times. They were founding members of the Pakistan Premier League. They were relegated in the 2006–07 season, but were elected to return following expansion of the league alongside Pakistan Airlines. Peoples Football Stadium
The People's Football Stadium is a football stadium located in Lyari, a neighbourhood in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is owned by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, formerly City District Government of Karachi. It has a capacity of 40,000. Stadium is part of a sports complex which also houses a boxing arena having capacity of 5000 spectators, and Gymnasium sports complex where indoor sports like volleyball, badminton and basketball are contested. The Pakistan Premier League (PPL; ur, پاکستان پریمیئر لیگ) is a Pakistani professional league for men's association football clubs. The 1986 Asian Club Championship was the 6th edition of the annual Asian club football competition hosted by Asian Football Confederation. The AFC Champions League (abbreviated as ACL) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and contested by Asia's top-division football clubs. Pakistan National Football Challenge Cup
The PFF National Challenge Cup is an annual semi-professional knockout football competition in men's domestic Pakistani football within the Pakistan football league system. It is organized by and named after the Pakistan Football Federation. Khan Research Laboratories have won the most titles (six). The 2006–07 Pakistan Premier League season was the 3rd season since the inception of Pakistan Premier League and 52nd season of Pakistan domestic football. The football season was moved from the summer to the winter months. Pakistan Army ended the season as league champions, successfully defending the title and winning their second title in three years. Pakistan Railways FC are a Pakistani football club from Lahore who play in the Pakistan Premier League and play at the Railway Stadium. Nicknamed the Railwaymen, they are one of the oldest football clubs in Pakistan and were created by the railway workers on the Pakistan Railway. Habib Bank Limited ( ur, ) abbreviated as HBL, is a Pakistani multinational bank based in Habib Bank Plaza, Karachi, Pakistan. Founded in 1939 by the Habib Family, HBL became Pakistan's first commercial bank. In 1951 it opened its first international branch in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
