Gulf Of İzmir
The Gulf of İzmir ( tr, İzmir Körfezi), formerly known as the Gulf of Smyrna, is a gulf on the Aegean Sea, with its inlet between the Karaburun Peninsula and the mainland area of Foça. It is in length by in breadth, with an excellent anchorage. The city of İzmir, an important port city of Turkey, surrounds the end of the gulf. International Space Station
The International Space Station (ISS) is the largest modular space station currently in low Earth orbit. Menemen
Menemen is a district of İzmir Province in Turkey and its central town. The district extends on a fertile plain formed by the alluvial soil carried by the Gediz River. Adjacent districts are, from east to west; Aliağa and Foça to the north and Bornova, Karşıyaka and Çiğli to the south, these last two being among İzmir's metropolitan districts. Akça is a Turkish island shaped like a shellfish near the biggest city of the Turkish Aegean coast Izmir. It is an uninhabited island and there are only bushes on the island. It is situated between Arap Islands, Yassıca Island, Çiçek Islands, Körtaş Islands and İncirli Island. It is off the coast of Port of Urla.
