Gadap Town
Gadap Town () is an administrative subdivision of Malir District in the northwestern part of Karachi with the Hub River on its western limits also forming the provincial border between Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, while to the north and east are Jamshoro District and the Kirthar Mountains. The amended 2022 Local Election Act introduced by the Sindh government had notified the town system in Karachi. Gadap Town, one of the three Towns of Malir District, comprises subdivision Gadap, Shah Mureed, Ibrahim Hyderi and parts of Bin-Qasim. Malir District () is an administrative district of Karachi Division in Sindh, Pakistan created in 1996 by bifurcation of Gulshan District, District Karachi East. According to the 2023 Pakistani census, District Malir had a population of 2,419,736 (2.4 million). History Malir is a Sindhi language, Sindhi word which means "greenery". Before the Pakistan Movement, independence of Pakistan, there were small villages of Sindhis, Sindhi and Kalmati, Kalmati Baloch in Gadap Town and Malir Town of modern Karachi.
