Gymnastics At The 2024 BRICS Games
The gymnastics events at the 2024 BRICS Games took place in the Kazan Gymnastics Center in Kazan, Russia. Artistic gymnastics was held between 13 and 15 June, and rhythmic gymnastics was held between 20 and 22 June. There were 108 participants in artistic gymnastics and 72 in rhythmic gymnastics. This was the first time Russian gymnasts competed internationally since the ban in 2022. Artistic gymnastics Russia's Daniel Marinov won the men's all-around title in his international debut, ahead of Olympic champion Artur Dalaloyan. Leyla Vasilyeva won the women's all-around ahead of teammate Anna Kalmykova. Medal summary Rhythmic gymnastics The rhythmic gymnastics competition featured both seniors (born 2008 or earlier) and juniors (born after 2008). In the senior competition, European champion Lala Kramarenko won the all-around title ahead of teammate Maria Borisova (gymnast), Maria Borisova and Olympian Anastasiia Salos. Kazan Gymnastics Center
The Kazan Gymnastics Center (), is an indoor sports arena in Kazan, Russia. Built for 2013 Summer Universiade, it was inaugurated on 14 November 2012. Currently it is used for training athletes from Kazan Youth Sports Schools and Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. Sergei Naidin
Sergei "Seryoga" Sergeevich Naidin (; born 11 July 2001 in Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia) is a Russian artistic gymnast. He is the 2016 European Junior Pommel horse champion. On the national level, he is a two-time the 2016, 2018 Russian Junior National All-around champion. Career Junior Naidin began gymnastics in 2006 in Barnaul. In 2014, he competed at the Russian Youth Games where he came in 1st in the all-around. At the "Hope of Russia" competition, he won the all-around, as well as finishing 1st on floor, rings, pommel horse, parallel bars, horizontal bar and 2nd in vault. In 2015, Naidin competed at the international junior gymnastics competition, the Yokohama Cup in Japan finishing 4th in horizontal bar and 5th on floor. In 2016, Naidin won the 2016 Russian Junior National all-around title, he also took first place in floor, rings and pommel horse. Vilana Savadyan (born 6 July 2007) is an Uzbek rhythmic gymnast. She's a multiple Asian medalist as well as a having won team gold at the Asian Games in 2022. Anastasiia Maksimovna Salos (; ; born 18 February 2002) is an individual Rhythmic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnast representing Belarus. Maria Dmitrievna Borisova (; born 7 April 2007) is a Russians, Russian individual rhythmic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 BRICS Games Hoop champion and individual all-around silver medalist, the 2024 Moscow Grand Prix clubs champion and all-around silver medalist, and the 2023 Moscow Grand Prix hoop champion. Lala Dmitrievna Kramarenko (, born December 6, 2004) is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2019 junior world champion in ball and clubs and the 2018 European junior champion in ball and ribbon. At the 2021 European Championships, she won team gold.
