Gymnastics At The 2019 Pan American Games
Gymnastics competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru were held between July 27 and August 5, 2019 at the Polideportivo Villa El Salvador, which also hosted the karate competitions. The artistic competitions took place between July 27 and 31. The rhythmic competition took place between August 2 and 5. The trampoline competition took place between August 4 and 5. 24 medal events were contested; 14 in artistic gymnastics (eight for men, six for women), eight in rhythmic (all for women), and 2 in trampoline (one per gender). A total of 195 gymnasts competed: 120 in artistic (60 per gender), 51 in rhythmic, and 24 in trampoline (12 per gender). Gymnastics is a group of sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, artistry and endurance. Brody Malone
John Brody Malone (born January 7, 2000) is an American artistic gymnast. He has been a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team since 2020 and represented the United States at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. He was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He is a three-time United States national all-around champion (2021, 2022, and 2024). On horizontal bar, he is the 2021 World Championship bronze medalist and the 2022 World Champion. Audrys Nin Reyes
Audrys Nin Reyes (born 2 January 1995) is a Dominican artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 and 2023 Pan American Games vault champion. He was the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at the Pan American Games. He was also the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at an FIG World Cup event when he won the vault title at the 2017 Osijek World Challenge Cup. René Cournoyer
René Cournoyer (born April 23, 1997) is a Canadian artistic gymnast. He represented Canada at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games as well as the 2014 Youth Olympic Games. Gymnastics career 2014 Cournoyer made his international debut at the 2014 Junior Pan American Championships where he helped Canada finish third as a team and individually he won gold on floor exercise and silver on vault. He next competed at the Pacific Rim Championships where he once again helped Canada win the bronze medal. In August Cournoyer competed at the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China.
