''Gyalecta'' is a genus of lichen-forming fungi in the family Gyalectaceae that contains 50 species. ''Gyalecta'' was circumscription (taxonomy), circumscribed by lichenologist Erik Acharius in 1808. It forms associations with Trentepohlia (alga), Trentepohlia algae.
