Greg Martin (rugby Union)
Greg J Martin (born 30 June 1963) is an Australian rugby union player. He played as a fullback. He earned nine Wallaby caps in 1989 and 1990, and 65 caps for the Queensland Reds. He played club rugby for the Brisbane club University for 18 years. Since retiring from playing he has worked as part of Fox Sports Rugby Union match commentary team in Australia. He is widely known for his controversial comments, including challenging the need for the All Blacks Haka. In 2009 he also stood for election in the state election in the seat of South Brisbane, where he received 1.3% of the vote. He is also a co-host on Triple M Brisbane's Big Breakfast with Margaux Parker. |

2009 Queensland State Election
The 2009 Queensland state election was held on 21 March 2009 to elect all 89 members of the Legislative Assembly, a unicameral parliament. The election saw the incumbent Labor government led by Premier Anna Bligh defeat the Liberal National Party of Queensland led by Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg, and gain a fifth consecutive term in office for her party. Bligh thus became the first female Premier of any Australian State elected in her own right. The 2009 election marked the eighth consecutive victory of Labor in a general election since 1989, although it was out of office between 1996 and 1998 as a direct result of the 1996 Mundingburra by-election. Triple M Brisbane
4MMM (identified on air and in print as Triple M) is a commercial FM rock radio station in Brisbane, Australia. It broadcasts on the Triple M network on 104.5 MHz frequency. Station history 4MMM started on the FM band at 104.1 MHz on August 22nd, 1980. Brisbane businessman Leo Williams (rugby union) was the driving force behind the venture while the station manager then was Rob McKay, who left the station soon after allowing program manager Ted Seymour to take the reins. Their first format was contemporary rock. It was rebranded as FM104 in December 1982 with the new slogan "Rock in Stereo", and focused on the typical Queensland lifestyle of beaches and barbecues. South Brisbane, also known as Brisbane South, is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland.
