Greg Marshall (defensive Lineman)
Gregory Edward Marshall (born September 9, 1956) is an American professional football coach and former player who is the defensive line coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played professionally for the Baltimore Colts and the Ottawa Rough Riders for nine years where he was named the league's Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 1983. He has also served as the head coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL) and the Toronto Varsity Blues . Playing career Marshall played college football with the Oregon State Beavers football, Oregon State Beavers as a defensive tackle. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 1978 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, but ended up playing in two games for the Baltimore Colts that season. List Of All-Pac-12 Conference Football Teams
The All-Pac-12 football team is an annual Pac-12 Conference honor bestowed on the best players in the conference following every college football season. Pac-12 coaches select first and second teams that each typically consists of 11 offensive players (a quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, and five offensive linemen), 11 defensive players (four defensive linemen, three linebackers, and four defensive backs), and four specialists (a punter, a kicker, a return specialist, and a special teams player). CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award
The Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award is annually awarded to the best defensive player in the Canadian football League. The winner of the award is selected by members of the Football Reporters of Canada along with the head coaches in the CFL. The two nominees for the award are the James P. McCaffrey Trophy winner from the East Division, and the Norm Fieldgate Trophy winner from the West Division. Between 1955 and 1973, both defensive players and offensive lineman had to compete for the CFL's Most Outstanding Lineman Award. Ottawa Rough Riders
The Ottawa Rough Riders were a Canadian Football League team based in Ottawa, Ontario, founded on September 19, 1876. Formerly one of the oldest and longest-lived professional sports teams in North America, the Rough Riders won the Grey Cup championship nine times. Their most dominant era was the 1960s and 1970s, in which they won five Grey Cups.
