Great Britain competed at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona, Spain from 19 July to 4 August 2013. Nick Robinson-Baker
Nicholas Robinson-Baker (born 24 June 1987) is an English diver. Robinson-Baker became interested in diving when he attended a boxing camp near Crystal Palace and used the pool there. He participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics, where he was placed 7th overall in the synchronised 3m springboard event with his diving partner Ben Swain. He has won gold, silver and bronze medals on the World Series tour, with a gold in 2009 in 3m synchro with Ben Swain at the World Series leg in Mexico. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he partnered with Chris Mears in the synchronised 3 metre springboard event and came fifth. They have also won a number of gold medals at National Cup and National Championships as well as a silver at the World Series in Mexico. Blake Aldridge
Blake Aldridge (born 4 August 1982) is a British synchronised diver, who dives for The Crystal Palace Diving Club. He is also a professional high diver and cliff diver on the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series where he has won 6 podium finishes. Biography Aldridge attended Downsview Primary School in Norbury London and then Stanley Technical High School for Boys in South Norwood London. Aldridge's original synchro partner Gavin Brown was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Southampton on 28 April 2007. During the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics he took part in the Men's 10m Synchronised event with his new diving partner, Tom Daley, 12 years his junior. The pair finished in eighth position in the final in an event dominated by the Chinese who claimed the gold. He criticised the 14-year-old Daley during the competition, which subsequently resulted in Aldridge himself being criticised. Tonia Couch
Tonia Couch (born 20 May 1989) is a former British Olympic diver. Biography Tonia Couch was born in Plymouth. She had been a fairly accomplished competitive gymnast when she participated in diving for a "trial" in September 1999. Just four weeks later, she won her first competition, a novice event at Crystal Palace in London. In February 2002, she became the youngest girl ever to qualify for the lottery funded Junior Olympic Programme, when she took bronze in the Junior girls platform event at the British Championships. It was at that point that her talent on the platform was really recognised. She participated at the 2005 and 2007 World Championships, finishing 25th in the 10 m platform in both. In 2008 and 2009, her eighth-place finishes at the Olympics and the World Championships, the best result by a British female for 20 years, secured her place in British diving history. Sarah Barrow (born 22 October 1988) is a British retired diver who competed in several LEN European Aquatics Championships and Commonwealth Games, where she won multiple medals. Career Sarah Barrow was born on 22 October 1988. She competed at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in the 10 m synchro event with Monique Gladding. The team finished in fifth. She competed in the same event at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, this time with Tonia Couch. They finished fourth, and replicated this result at the 2011 European Championships. She won the gold medal at the 2012 European Championships at the 10 metre synchro event, with Tonia Couch. They scored a then personal best of 319.56 points, beating the Ukrainian pair by 8.88 points. This was the first European medal awarded to female British divers in 74 years.
