Granger House (Marion, Iowa)
The Granger House, also known as the Granger House Victorian Museum, is a historic heritage tourism site located in Marion, Iowa, United States. This Victorian Italianate house was built around 1860 by Charles Myers. Earl Granger bought the house in 1876 and it remained in his family until 1973. with Granger built the carriage house in 1879, and built an addition onto the main house the following year, reflecting his growing wealth in livestock production and local banking investments. The two-story brick building features a -story ell, a gable roof, bracketed eaves, and arched stone lintels over the symmetrically arranged windows. The front porch is not the original. Granger Cottage is a historic home located at Canandaigua in Ontario County, New York. It is a two-story, three-bay Gothic Revival style dwelling on a slightly raised cobblestone foundation. It was built in the 1850s. In 1907, the cottage was moved and a Colonial Revival style porch was added. Granger House And The Perch
The Granger House and The Perch are a pair of historic homes in central Austin, Texas. The "Granger House" was built by local architect (and Austin native) Charles Granger in 1952, preceded by a smaller residence known as "The Perch" in 1945. Both buildings feature a distinctive boxy Mid-Century modern style, unique in the local neighborhood, that is today almost unaltered from their original appearance. Granger Station State Historic Site, also known as Granger Stage Station, South Bend Station and Ham's Fork Station, is a state park in Granger, Wyoming, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Description The site is dedicated to the interpretation of the station, the Pony Express and the Overland Trail. The station is a rectangular one-story stone building measuring about by . There are two interior rooms. History A settlement was first established about 1856 at the meeting of Hams Fork with Blacks Fork of the Green River, where a ferry crossed Hams Fork. This became a station on the Pony Express in 1860-1861, then was a station on the Overland Trail in 1862. By this time it was known as the South Bend Station.
