Governor Of Sichuan
The governor of Sichuan, officially the Governor of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, is the head of Sichuan, Sichuan Province and leader of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. The governor is elected by the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, and responsible to it and its Standing Committee. The governor is a Civil service of the People's Republic of China, provincial level official and is responsible for the overall decision-making of the provincial government. The governor is assisted by an executive vice governor as well as several vice governors. The governor generally serves as the deputy secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and as a member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, CCP Central Committee. Wei Hong
Wei Hong ( zh, c=魏宏; born May 1954) is a Chinese politician who served as the Governor of Sichuan between 2013 and 2016. Prior to his assuming the post of governor, he served as vice governor and head of the Organization Department of the Chinese Communist Party in Sichuan province. Jiang Jufeng
Jiang Jufeng (; born 1948) is a Chinese politician. He served as the Governor of Sichuan from 2007 to 2013. Jiang was born in 1948 in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Fudan University in 1982 and the same year joined the Chinese Communist Party. From June 1998 to March 2002 he served as a secretary for CPC's Wenzhou City Party Committee in Zhejiang. As of January 23, 2017, Jufeng is a Governor of Sichuan Province, which he became after he succeeded longtime Governor Zhang Zhongwei, who was in office from June 1999 to January 2007. Zhang Zhongwei
Zhang Zhongwei (; born February 1942) is a retired politician of the People's Republic of China. He served as Governor of Sichuan province from 1999 to 2007. Biography Zhang Zhongwei was born in February 1942 in Guan County (now Dujiangyan City), Sichuan province. He entered the work force in June 1956 as an accountant in his native Guan County and joined the Chinese Communist Party in September 1960. Starting in 1959 Zhang worked for the government of Guan County, Wenjiang prefecture, and Peng County, all in Sichuan. From 1983 to 1987 he was a standing committee member of the Communist Party Chengdu committee. In 1987 he became the deputy head of the Organization Department of Sichuan province, and from 1988 to 1993 he was Director of the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department of Sichuan. Song Baorui
Song Baorui (; December 1937 – 20 September 2022) was a politician of the People's Republic of China. He served as Governor of Sichuan from 1996 to 1999. Biography Song Baorui was a native of Shunyi County (now Shunyi District), Beijing. He was born in December 1937 and joined the Chinese Communist Party in December 1958. From 1957 to 1963 he studied metallurgy at Tsinghua University in Beijing, and completed a graduate program at the metallurgy department of Tsinghua in 1966. Jiang Minkuan
Jiang Minkuan (; May 1930 – 6 June 2012) was a politician and engineer of the People's Republic of China. He served as Governor of Sichuan province, deputy director of the State Science and Technology Commission, and deputy head of the United Front Work Department. Biography Jiang Minkuan was a native of Wu County (now part of Suzhou), Jiangsu province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in June 1961. Starting in 1950 he worked as an engineer in the non-ferrous metal industry in Northeast China. Lu Dadong (; 1915 – 28 August 1998) was a communist revolutionary and politician of the People's Republic of China.
