Government Of Telangana
The Government of Telangana also known as Telangana Government, is the governing authority of the state of Telangana in India. It consists of an executive, a judiciary and a legislative. The state government is headed by the Governor of Telangana as the nominal head of state, with a democratically elected Chief Minister as the real head of the executive. The governor who is appointed for five years appoints the chief minister and his council of ministers. Even though the governor remains the ceremonial head of the state, the day-to-day running of the government is taken care of by the chief minister and his council of ministers in whom a great deal of legislative powers are vested. The state government maintains its capital at Hyderabad and is seated at the Government Secretariat or the Sachivalayam. The Emblem of Telangana is the state emblem of Telangana in South India. The arms has the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam in the middle, and the Charminar inside it and bordered in green. Design The emblem is a circular seal consisting of the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam and Charminar with the Sarnath Lion Capital above. Jishnu Dev Varma
Jishnu Dev Varma (born 15 August 1957), is an Indian politician serving as the 3rd and current Governor of Telangana since 31 July 2024. He is from Tripura, and has previously served as the 2nd Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura from 2018 to 2023. He served as the MLA of Charilam from 2018 till 2023. He was the head of the Badminton Association of India, and is currently the president of its Tripura unit. Early life and education Jishnu Dev Varma was born in Agartala, Tripura on 15 August 1957. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka (born 15 June 1961) is an Indian politician currently serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana. He represents Madhira constituency in the Telangana Legislative assembly. He previously served as the Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Assembly.
