Goody's Burger House S.A. is Greece's largest fast food company. Its head office is in Building 14B, Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport in Spata, Attica. It was founded in 1973 by Ioannis Dionisiadis, Achilleas Folias and Nikolaos Pappas in Thessaloniki. It is the leading fast-food restaurant of Greece, having left behind the international chain McDonald's. In July 2001, after a hostile acquisition, Delta Holding S.A. became the major stakeholder in the company. In September 2006, Goody's along with Delta and a few more companies, started working under the umbrella of a parent company named Vivartia, owned by the Marfin Investment Group. It is now a subsidiary of Vivartia S.A. In January 31, 2014, Goody's changed its name to Goody's Burger House, though some of its stores still retain the previous branding. Sam Goody was a music and entertainment retailer in the United States and United Kingdom, operated by The Musicland Group, Inc. It was purchased by Best Buy in 2000, sold to Sun Capital Partners in 2003, and filed for bankruptcy in 2006, closing most of its stores. The remaining stores were purchased by Trans World Entertainment, which also runs FYE, Saturday Matinee, and Suncoast Motion Picture Company. Goody's Powder, also called Goody's Headache Powders, is an over-the-counter aspirin/paracetamol/caffeine–based pain reliever, in single-dose powder form, which is marketed and sold by Prestige Brands. The powder delivery saves the time needed for the patient's digestive system to break down a tablet or capsule, ostensibly causing the medication to work faster. Goody's Extra Strength Powder consists of aspirin, caffeine, and paracetamol (acetaminophen) in a formula identical to that of Excedrin, a product of Novartis, but in the no-digestion-needed powder form. ''The History of Little Goody Two-Shoes'' is a children's story published by John Newbery in London in 1765. The story popularized the phrase "goody two-shoes" as a descriptor for an excessively virtuous person or do-gooder. Plot ''Goody Two-Shoes'' is a variation of the Cinderella story. The fable tells of Goody Two-Shoes, the nickname of a poor orphan girl named Margery Meanwell, who goes through life with only one shoe. When a rich gentleman gives her a complete pair, she is so happy that she tells everyone that she has "two shoes". Later, Margery becomes a teacher and marries a rich widower. This serves as proof that her virtue has been rewarded and her wealth earned, a popular theme in children's literature of the era. "Goody Two Shoes" is the debut solo single by Adam Ant, released on 7 May 1982. History There are two versions of the cover. The first has Adam and the Ants across the top of the sleeve and the later version just Adam Ant. This is probably due to the confusion around the timing of Ant going solo, particularly as the song was performed by three fifths of the band Ant, Pirroni and Hughes. There are also two different studio versions of the song. The UK 7" single version is notably different from the re-recorded version which appears on ''Friend or Foe''. The single version has a different, more reverberating drum track. The ''Friend or Foe'' version, instead of Hughes on drums, features Bogdan Wiczling, drummer on the rest of the album.
