Good To Be Back (2013 Film)
''Good to Be Back'' () is a 2013 Iranian comedy-drama film directed by Dariush Mehrjui. Plot Dentist Farzad (Hamed Behdad) has returned to Iran after many years abroad to escape his anxieties and daily stresses. Farzad is delighted to be reunited with his old friend, Kambiz ( Reza Attaran), who has been his seaside neighbor for years. Upon his arrival in the Iran, a mysterious quasi-space object appears and causes Dr. Yasmin and her magic stones to enter Farzad's life, which threatens Farzad and Kambiz long friendship. Dariush Mehrjui
Dariush Mehrjui (‎; 8 December 1939 – 14 October 2023) was an Iranian filmmaker and a member of the Iranian Academy of the Arts. Mehrjui was a founding member of the Iranian New Wave movement of the early 1970s, which also included directors Masoud Kimiai and Nasser Taqvai. His second film, ''The Cow'' (1969), is considered to be the first film of this movement. Most of his films are inspired by literature and adapted from Iranian and foreign novels and plays. On 14 October 2023, Mehrjui and his wife, Vahideh Mohammadifar, were found stabbed to death in their home in the city of Karaj, near Tehran. Christophe Rezai (; born 1966 in Toulouse) is a French-Iranian composer living in Tehran since 1994. Career He was born from an Iranian Father and a French mother in 1966 in the city of Toulouse in France. He has studied music (piano, vocal and theory) along with engineering and marketing.
