Good Nature (Turnover Album)
''Good Nature'' is the third studio album by American rock band Turnover, released on August 25, 2017, on Run for Cover Records. Background and production ''Good Nature'' was recorded with producer Will Yip, who had worked with the band on their previous album, ''Peripheral Vision''. It is the last album by the band to feature lead guitarist Eric Soucy, who has since been released from the band due to allegations of emotional abuse. The album came together in 2016, with vocalist and guitarist Austin Getz finalising the lyrics while the band was on tour in Europe. In the accompanying press release for the album, Getz describes the album as: Release Following allegations of emotional abuse, guitarist Eric Soucy was removed from the group in June 2017. Turnover (band)
Turnover is an American rock band from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Formed in 2009, the band is signed with the Run for Cover Records label. Turnover has released five albums, two EPs and two singles. History Turnover began in 2009, originally consisting of vocalist Austin Getz, rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist Kyle Kojan, lead guitarist Alex Dimaiuat, bassist Danny Dempsey and drummer Casey Getz. In 2011, the group released their debut E.P. ''Turnover'' on Broken Rim Records. In 2012, they released a split single with Citizen, and signed to Run for Cover Records. In December 2011 and January 2012, the band went on a winter tour with True Things. In 2012, the band went on a summer tour with Citizen and Light Years. Towards the end of 2012, Dimaiuat left the group. Shortly afterwards, Austin Getz began playing rhythm guitar in the group, moving Kojan to lead guitar and converting the quintet into a four-piece. The Story So Far is an American pop-punk band from Walnut Creek, California, formed in 2007. They are signed to Pure Noise Records and have released five studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2007–2010) The Story So Far formed in Walnut Creek, California in 2007. Their name is taken from the New Found Glory song "The Story So Far". The band consisted of Parker Cannon on vocals, Kevin Geyer on lead guitar, Kevin Ambrose on rhythm guitar, Ryan Torf on drums, and Kelen Capener on bass. On December 22, the band released the ''5 Songs'' EP. Ambrose parted ways with the band when he went to college in 2010 and was replaced by William Levy. Turnstile is an American hardcore punk band from Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2010. They have released five EPs and four studio albums. The band's third album ''Glow On'' was released in 2021 to critical and commercial success; the songs "Holiday" and "Blackout" earned the band three nominations at the 65th Grammy Awards. History 2010–2020: Early years and ''Nonstop Feeling'' Turnstile was formed in 2010 and grew out of Baltimore's hardcore scene. Camp Cope
Camp Cope were an Australian alternative rock band formed in 2015 in Melbourne, Victoria. The group's lineup consisted of lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Georgia "Georgia Maq" McDonald, bassist Kelly-Dawn "Kelso" Hellmrich, and drummer Sarah "Thomo" Thompson. The band were signed with independent Melbourne label Poison City Records, where Thompson also works, and independent Boston label Run for Cover Records distributed their releases in North America and Europe. In February 2023, Camp Cope announced their imminent disbandment with a series of final performances. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand in the early to mid-1980s. Although the term was originally used to describe rock music released through independent record labels, by the 1990s it became more widely associated with the music such bands produced. The sound of indie rock has its origins in the New Zealand Dunedin sound of the Chills, Tall Dwarfs, the Clean and the Verlaines, and early 1980s college rock radio stations who would frequently play jangle pop bands like the Smiths and R.E.M.
