Gong Chenzhi is a Chinese snooker player. In 2024, he won a place on the World Snooker Tour from the 2024–25 snooker season. Career In June 2023, Gong beat three-time Women’s World Champion Ng On Yee 4-0 at the Asia-Oceania Q School in Bangkok. 2023/24 He reached the semi-finals at the 2023 CBSA Zhang Jiagang Youth Event Under-21 tournament. 2023 Wuhan Open (snooker)
The 2023 Wuhan Open (officially the 2023 Panda Club Wuhan Open) was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 9 to 15 October 2023 at the Wuhan Gymnasium in Wuhan, China. The fifth Snooker world rankings, ranking event of the 2023–24 snooker season, 2023–24 season, it followed the 2023 English Open (snooker), 2023 English Open and preceded the 2023 Northern Ireland Open. Bulcsú Révész is a Hungarian snooker player. In February 2024 he won the WSF World Junior Championship, and with it earned a two-year card on the World Snooker Tour starting with 2024–25 snooker season. Career In 2019, competing as a twelve year-old, Révész made the last 16 of the EBSA European ''6 Reds'' competition. He then reached the Quarter Finals of the EBSA European Snooker Open, where he lost out to the eventual winner Kristján Helgason from Iceland. Championship League
Championship League is a professional snooker tournament, devised by Matchroom Sport. A ranking event version of the tournament began from September 2020, played similarly to its invitational, non-ranking counterpart but with some minor changes and opened to the entire World Snooker Tour. The tournament was originally held at the Crondon Park Golf Club in Stock, Essex, from its debut in 2008 until 2016. From 2017 to 2018, it was held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Snooker World Rankings
The snooker world rankings are the official system of ranking professional snooker players to determine automatic qualification and seeding for tournaments on the World Snooker Tour. The ranking lists are maintained by the sport's governing body, the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association. Each player's world ranking is based on their performances in designated ranking tournaments over the preceding two years. The world ranking list is updated after every ranking tournament. 2023–24 Snooker Season
The 2023–24 snooker season is an ongoing professional snooker season with tournaments played between 26 June 2023 and 26 May 2024. Players The World Snooker Tour in the 2023–24 season initially involved 130 professional players, but dropped to 129 players. The decrease in membership was due to Dechawat Poomjaeng letting his WPBSA membership lapse and thus meant he was automatically removed from the main tour. Neil Robertson
Neil Robertson (born 11 February 1982) is an Australian professional snooker player who is a former world champion and former world number one. The only Australian to have won a ranking event, he is also the only player from outside the United Kingdom to have completed snooker's Triple Crown, having won the World Championship in 2010, the Masters in 2012 and 2022, and the UK Championship in 2013, 2015 and 2020. He has claimed a career total of 23 ranking titles, having won at least one professional tournament every year since 2006. The 2024 Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 30 August to 7 September 2024 at Green Halls in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament and was part of the 2024–25 snooker season. The tournament featured a total prize fund of £2,302,000, the second-highest after the World Championship. Si Jiahui (; born 11 July 2002) is a Chinese professional snooker player. Career In May 2019, Si qualified for the 2019–20 and 2020–21 professional Main Tour as Q School, as the highest ranked player on the Q School ranking list who didn't reach the semi-finals of any of the three events. Si's first wins as a professional were a 4–0 victory over Soheil Vahedi in the first round and 4–1 against Stuart Bingham in second round of the 2019 English Open. As an amateur, Si beat Shaun Murphy in the first round of the 2021 UK Championship. Tom Ford (snooker Player)
Tom Ford (born 17 August 1983) is an English professional snooker player from the Midlands. Ford reached the final of the 2016 Paul Hunter Classic, before losing the final 2–4 to Mark Selby. He also reached the semi-final of both the 2018 UK Championship and the 2019 English Open. Ford has compiled five maximum breaks in competitive play, and over 200 breaks. The 2024 Xi'an Grand Prix (officially the 2024 Du Xiaoman Xi'an Grand Prix) was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 19 to 25 August 2024 at the Qujiang Esports Centre in Xi'an, China. Gerard Greene
Gerard Eamonn Greene (born 12 November 1973 in Chatham, Kent) is a Northern Irish professional snooker player. He represents Northern Ireland in international events, as his parents are from Belfast. Greene has enjoyed moderate success in his career, reaching his highest ranking, 26th, for the 2004–05 season, and has reached one ranking final, at the 2014 Players Championship Grand Final, where he lost 4–0 to Barry Hawkins. Alongside this, Greene reached a ranking semi-final, at the 2007 Grand Prix, losing to the eventual champion Marco Fu, and five quarter-finals.
