Fat Wreck Chords (pronounced "Fat Records") is a San Francisco, California-based independent record label, focused on punk rock. It was started by NOFX lead singer Michael Burkett (better known as Fat Mike) in 1990. The Flatliners are a Canadian punk rock band from Richmond Hill, Ontario. Since their formation in 2002, the band has been a growing influence in the Toronto punk/ska movement, with consistently well-received albums and live shows. History The band self-released its debut album, '' Destroy to Create'' in 2005; after signing to Stomp Records, it was reissued on July 19, 2005. It saw the band mix punk rock with ska, and was promoted with a Canadian tour. In March and April 2006, the band went on the Frostbite Tour alongside Death by Stereo, Bigwig, and Big D and the Kids Table. They appeared at the Ska Weekend festival at the end of April 2006. Strung Out is an American punk rock band from Simi Valley, California, formed in 1989. They are known mainly for their musical style, which fuses aspects of melodic punk rock, progressive rock and heavy metal to form their primary sound. ''Peace in Our Time'' is the eighth studio album by the Santa Cruz, California-based hardcore punk band Good Riddance, released April 21, 2015 through Fat Wreck Chords. It is the band's first studio album since their 2007 breakup and 2012 reunion. Background and recording Good Riddance had broken up in 2007, but reunited in 2012. Singer Russ Rankin began writing songs for the band's eighth studio album in 2014. ''Peace in Our Time'' was recorded that November at Motor Studios in San Francisco, with Bill Stevenson serving as record producer and audio engineer. The album was mixed and mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room. The cover illustration was done by Chris Shary. At only 27 minutes long, it is the band's shortest album to date. Good Riddance (sometimes abbreviated GR) is an American punk rock band from Santa Cruz, California.
