This is a list of characters in ''Stargate Universe'', an American-Canadian military science fiction serial drama which made its premiere on October 2, 2009, on the Syfy channel. Main characters Nicholas Rush Nicholas Rush (portrayed by Robert Carlyle) is an expert in Ancient technology. His research was hindered while he was married to Gloria Rush (Louise Lombard). Since her death, he has become more dedicated to science. He spearheads the Icarus Project, his main priority being to explore the mystery behind the ninth chevron of the Stargate. Rush was stationed at the Icarus Base in 2009, in order to do research on the ninth chevron. During an attack on the base, Rush and Eli Wallace figure out how to dial the ninth chevron, and are responsible for sending the remaining Icarus personnel to an Ancient ship known as the ''Destiny'', a spaceship situated in a far-away galaxy, with no way of returning to Earth. ''Ginn & Co Solicitors'' Cambridge was a High Street practice with offices at Sidney House, Sussex Street, Cambridge. It provided bespoke legal advice to individuals, businesses and college institutions for 140 years. History The practice was established in 1873 by Samuel Reuben Ginn, the son of a St Ives’ solicitor, at his offices in Alexandra Street, Petty Cury. Samuel Ginn distinguished himself as a solicitor and was appointed to several important civic roles. He was elected to serve St Matthew's Ward in 1891 for the Liberal Party and was Mayor of Cambridge from 1897 to 1898. He was a Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire and a Justice of the Peace. During the First World War he administered the Prince of Wales' National Relief Fund. He was also Lord of the Manors of Fen Ditton, Harston and Haslingfield, and Farcet in Huntingdonshire. Bobby Ginn
MB2 Motorsports was a NASCAR Cup Series team based in Mooresville, North Carolina, near the sport's hub in Charlotte, North Carolina, Charlotte. The team was founded by Read Morton, Tom Beard, and Nelson Bowers, from which the original team name derived. Bowers was the longest tenured of the original owners, and the listed owner of the teams' entries when resort and real-estate developer Bobby Ginn bought out the team (with his family having 80% ownership; longtime team director Jay Frye owned the remaining 20% of the rebranded team) in 2007, renaming it to Ginn Racing for that season only. The Valvoline corporation co-owned the No. 10 (later the No. 14) car with the principal owners from 2001 to 2005 as MBV Motorsports, while the No. 36 entry (later the No. 13) was co-owned by Centrix Financial, LLC owner Robert Sutton as MB Sutton Motorsports in 2005.
