Gina Austin (Home And Away)
Gina Palmer (also Holden and Austin) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Sonia Todd. The character debuted on-screen during the episode broadcast on 26 January 2009. Gina is the older sister of Tony Holden and the mother to three sons; Hugo, Brendan and Xavier Austin. The character was killed off on 18 April 2013, following Todd's decision to leave. Casting Todd made several guest appearances as Gina in 2009. In September of that year, it was announced that she had joined the regular cast after impressing Seven's drama executives. Sonia Todd
Sonia Todd (born 1959) is an Australian actress. She is best known for her television roles as Sgt. Georgia Rattray in ''Police Rescue'' (1989–1996), Meg Fountain in '' McLeod's Daughters'' (2001–2008) and Gina Austin in the soap opera ''Home and Away'' (2009–2013). Career Todd studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art where she starred in the play ''Strictly Ballroom'', directed by Baz Luhrmann. Todd became known from her role of 'Georgia Rattray' in the television series ''Police Rescue'', for which she won for an AFI Award in 1991. Jett Palmer (also James) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Will McDonald. The actor received a request through his agent to audition for the role of Jett. After two weeks, he was shocked to learn that he had won the part. ''Home and Away'' marks McDonald's first television role. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 7 May 2012. Shane Withington (born 22 August 1958) is an Australian actor, notable for roles in theatre, television, and film. Career Withington is best known for roles in TV serials, with two famous character portrayals. Angelo Rosetta is a fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Luke Jacobz. He made his debut during the episode broadcast on 8 July 2008. He has been central to many notable storylines including shooting dead Jack Holden ( Paul O'Brien), his time working as a sergeant of Summer Bay's police force and his relationship with Charlie Buckton ( Esther Anderson).
