Gilley's Complex, known as Gilley's Dallas, is a multi-purpose entertainment and dining complex located in Dallas, Texas. The complex offers nine venues with capacities ranging from 350 to 4,000. These venues are: South Side Ballroom, South Side Music Hall, the Loft, Bonnie & Clyde’s, the Lone Star Room, the Brazos Room, the Saloon, the Pasadena Room, and the Federal Reserve Room. The complex was named for country music singer-songwriter Mickey Gilley, who performed at the club. Donn Charles Nelson (born September 10, 1962) is an American basketball executive who previously held general manager and president of basketball operations roles for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Mickey Gilley
Mickey Leroy Gilley (March 9, 1936 – May 7, 2022) was an American country music singer and songwriter. Although he started out singing straight-up country and western material in the 1970s, he moved towards a more pop-friendly sound in the 1980s, bringing him further success on not just the country charts, but the pop charts as well. Among his biggest hits are "Room Full of Roses", "Don't the Girls All Get Prettier at Closing Time", and the remake of the Soul hit " Stand by Me".
