Sissel Kyrkjebø (; born 24 June 1969), also known abroad as Sissel, is a Norwegian soprano. She is considered one of the world's top crossover sopranos. Her musical style ranges from pop recordings and folk songs to classical vocals and operatic arias. She rose to prominence in Norway in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and her cover version of Ole Paus' song " Innerst i sjelen" (Deep in My Soul) gained wide popularity in the 1990s. Jens Hoffmann Mesén (born 1974 in San José, Costa Rica) is a writer, editor, educator, and exhibition maker. His work has attempted to expand the definition and context of exhibition making. ''Innerst i sjelen'', in the United Kingdom: ''Deep Within My Soul'', is a 1994 album by Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø. It is named for the song " Innerst i sjelen", written by Ole Paus Lars Børke & Örjan Englund. Kyrkjebø's cover version of the song gained wide popularity in the 1990s. After a tour in Scandinavia countries, Kyrkjebø wanted to gather songs that could comfort and give hope, songs that told the story of longing, strong beliefs and hope, trust and love through countries and generations. Neil Sedaka (; born March 13, 1939) is an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Since his music career began in 1957, he has sold millions of records worldwide and has written or co-written over 500 songs for himself and other artists, collaborating mostly with lyricists Howard Greenfield, Howard "Howie" Greenfield and Phil Cody.
