Giovanna "Gi" Fernandes Silva (born 23 December 2004) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as either a right back or a midfielder for Santos. Club career Born in Praia Grande, São Paulo, Gi Fernandes joined Santos' youth setup in 2018. Promoted to the first team in July 2020, she made her first team debut on 27 September, starting in a 6–0 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A1 home routing of Ponte Preta; aged just 15, she became the youngest player ever to debut for ''Sereias da Vila'', and the second-youngest in Santos' history overall, only behind Coutinho. On 10 December 2021, Gi Fernandes signed her first professional contract with Santos. Praia Grande
Praia Grande () is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Baixada Santista. The population is 330,845 (2020 est.) in an area of 149.25 km². Population history History Although the political emancipation is recent, the area covered today by the municipality of Praia Grande was one of the first areas colonized by the Portuguese, which began with the arrival of Martim Afonso in 1532. South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship
The South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship (Spanish: Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-20 Femenino) is an international association football competition for women's national teams. It is held every two years for South American players under the age of 20 and serves as a qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In its inaugural year, 2004, it was played by U-19 players. The last edition was held in 2022 in Chile. Brazil has won all the competitions with 9 titles in total. For the 2002 and 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship, South America was given one qualification spot. 2022 South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship
The 2022 South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship was the 10th edition of the South American Under-20 Women's Football Championship ( es, CONMEBOL Sudamericano Femenino Sub-20), the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONMEBOL for the women's under-20 national teams of South America. It was held in La Calera, Chile from 6 to 24 April 2022. The top two teams of the tournament qualified for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica as the CONMEBOL representatives. Antônio Wilson Vieira Honório
Antônio Wilson Vieira Honório (11 June 1943 – 11 March 2019), nicknamed Coutinho, was a Brazilian coach and footballer who played as a forward for Santos Futebol Clube, where he was a teammate and one of the best partners of Pelé, and became a member of the Brazilian national team that won the 1962 FIFA World Cup. He is considered one of the greatest strikers in the history of Brazilian football with 368 goals in 457 matches even though he prematurely ended his football career before the age of 30 due to knee problems. His main virtues as a striker were coldness and precision in finishing, the ability to dribble in tight spaces and a keen awareness of team play, which allowed him to make several one-two passes with Pelé in the midst of opponent defenses.
