''Get Right with the Man'' is the fourth studio album by American musical duo Van Zant. It was released in 2005 by Columbia Records. It peaked at number 2 on the Top Country Albums chart, and was certified Gold by the RIAA. The album includes the singles "Help Somebody", "Nobody Gonna Tell Me What to Do" and "Things I Miss the Most". The song "I'm Doin' Alright", was featured in the 2006 EA Sports game NASCAR 07. This album has been released with the Copy Control protection system in some regions. Van Zant (band)
Van Zant is an American musical duo composed of brothers Donnie Van Zant and Johnny Van Zant. Both are brothers of Ronnie Van Zant, the original lead singer for the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. Johnny became the lead vocalist for the reunited Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1987. Donnie was the leader and vocalist of .38 Special. Initially a Southern rock band, Van Zant first recorded in the 1980s on Network /Geffen Records before disbanding. Johnny and Donnie re-established Van Zant in 1998 to record two albums for CMC International, switching their focus to country music in 2005, with two more albums on Columbia Records as a duo. Craig Michael Wiseman is an American country music songwriter and producer, and the owner/founder of the Big Loud enterprise. Eric A. Darken is an American percussionist, composer, and programmer. Biography Drawing inspiration from his grandfather, a band leader. Darken began playing drums at age 12, and played timpani and mallets in high school. Alan Gordon ("Big Al") Anderson (born July 26, 1947) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. In the 1960s, Anderson was the frontman of Connecticut-based band the Wildweeds, whose song "No Good To Cry" (written by Anderson) was a regional success in 1967. From December 1971 until December 1993, he was the lead guitarist in the band NRBQ, and released several solo albums.
