Christopher Alesund (born 29 May 1990), better known as GeT_RiGhT, is a Swedish '' Counter-Strike'' player who is currently a streamer for Dignitas. During his time as a member of Ninjas in Pyjamas, he was considered one of the best ''Counter-Strike'' players in the history of the series. He began playing competitively in 2007 and has previously been a member of SK Gaming, Fnatic, Begrip Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Dignitas. Career ''Counter-Strike'' Christopher Alesund started playing 1.6 after his brother Robin introduced him to the game. In 2007, Alesund started playing for Begrip, placed 2nd at spiXelania 2007. Later that year, he joined SK Gaming, which placed 4th at the EM II Finals on March 9, 2008. In early 2009, Alesund joined Fnatic, replacing Oskar "ins" Holm. HLTV, formerly an acronym of Half-Life Television, is a news website and forum which covers professional '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'' esports news, tournaments and statistics. It is one of the leading websites within the ''Counter-Strike'' community with over 4 million unique visitors each month. Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) is a professional esports organisation based in Sweden that is best known for its '' Counter-Strike'' teams. In 2012, the team reformed with a '' Counter Strike: Global Offensive'' lineup upon the release of the game. Aside from ''Counter-Strike'', the organisation has teams in '' Valorant'', '' Rainbow Six Siege'', '' FIFA'', and ''League of Legends''. They formerly had teams in ''Fortnite Battle Royale'', ''Overwatch'', ''PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds'' and '' Paladins''. History Ninjas in Pyjamas were formed in June 2000. ESL One Cologne 2016, also known as ESL Cologne Major 2016 or Cologne 2016, was an Electronic Sports League Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. It was the ninth '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'' Major Championship and was held at the Lanxess Arena In Cologne, Germany from July 8–10. The World e-Sports Masters (WEM) was an international competitive gaming event organized by the Hangzhou eSport Culture & Sport Communication Company, Ltd. Prize money are awarded to winning individuals and teams. It was first held in 2005 under the World e-Sports Games. The World eSports Games, Inc. was founded in 2004 by Paul Chong. Headquartered in Seoul, the first three games were held in South Korea in 2005. A year later, the event moved to Hangzhou where it was renamed the World e-Sports Games Masters.
