Georgia High School Association
The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) is an organization that governs athletics and activities for member high schools in Georgia, USA. GHSA is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations. The association has 463 public and private high schools as members. GHSA organizes all sports and academic competitions as well as overseeing registration, training, and approves local area sports officials associations to administer regional athletics and activities per member schools. Membership Membership to the GHSA is voluntary and open to every high school in the state of Georgia, although participating private schools must have at least 150 students in their high school. Many private schools that do not enter the GHSA compete in the interscholastic organization of the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA). Member schools of the GHSA make most decisions by appointing region representatives who vote on proposals in the GHSA Executive Committee. ...

Thomaston is a city in and the county seat of Upson County, Georgia, United States. The population was 9,816 at the 2020 census. Westlake High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in South Fulton, Georgia (with an Atlanta mailing address) and is accredited by the Georgia Department of Education and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. History As a part of the Fulton County School System consolidation plan, Westlake was formed in 1988 by the closing of Westwood and Lakeshore High Schools. Newton High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades in Covington, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Newton County School System. Located thirty-two miles outside Atlanta, it is one of three schools serving Newton County. The school serves 2,000 students in grades 9–12. History Newton High School was established in 1949. The original building was located on Newton Drive, where Sharp Learning Center is now located. Grovetown High School is located in Grovetown, Georgia, United States, in Columbia County, and opened on August 10, 2009. Its enrollment for the 2010-2011 school was approximately 1300 students; its most recent enrollment approached 2,100. Grayson High School
Grayson High School is located in Loganville, Georgia and has an enrollment of over 3,100 students. The school pulls students from many areas of southeastern Gwinnett County, mainly Grayson, Loganville, and Lawrenceville. History Construction on the current Grayson High School building began in August 1998 and the school opened its doors in 2000. The building has 65 classrooms, but as the student body has outgrown it, expansion is required. 42 trailers were formerly located in front of the building, until an expansion of the school was completed in time for the 2021 school year. Archer High School
Archer High School is a public high school near Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. It is operated by Gwinnett County Public Schools. It is named after Gwinnett County teacher and coach Benjamin Vernon Archer. The school officially opened on Monday, August 10, 2009, with enrollment topping 1,200 students. Robert L. Osborne High School is a public high school located in unincorporated Cobb County, Georgia, United States, north of Atlanta and with a Marietta postal address. John McEachern High School or McEachern High School is a public high school established in 1933 in Powder Springs, Georgia, United States. It was originally established as the Seventh District Agricultural and Mechanical School. Due to its history, McEachern has an open campus, with its buildings spaced across the property.
